  • To help children to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to life in a rapidly changing world
  • To help children to develop literacy and numeracy skills
  • To instil respect for religious and moral value, and tolerance and understanding of other cultures, religions and lifestyles
  • To help children understand the world in which they live and the interdependence of individuals, groups and nations
  • To help children develop appropriate relationships with other children and adults in school and in the wider world
